“Great, jam-packed tour of Tucson’s dark history. Our tour guide was a retired teacher, and you could tell she had a passion for Tucson and the history surrounding the city.”

My wife and I went on the Legendary Walking Tour in downtown Tucson. Wow was it fun! Kelly had a bunch of incredibly interesting stories about criminals, gangsters, kidnappings, and more! I had no idea Tucson had such interesting sagas. Kelly was a great guide: knowledgable, kind, fun, and more. She welcomed questions, walked us through some beautiful neighborhoods, and showed us some nightlife hotspots. I want to try a couple of the restaurants she recommended. I HIGHLY recommend taking this tour. VERY fun, worth the time and money…

“Legendary Tucson Walking Tours is a pleasant way to spend some time learning about Tucson and some of its quirky history. Kelly is articulate in her storytelling with a flair for humor. The tour itself was long enough to learn and see some of the downtown, but not so long it wears you out. Get ready for some fun and crazy history.”

“Kelly is an excellent tour guide! We had a lot of fun on the true crime tour and we'll be back for her other tours for sure!”

Group of people standing outdoors on a sidewalk, two women holding umbrellas, listening to a woman in cowboy boots and floral jacket speaking, with trees and a metal fence in the background.

Legendary Tucson Walking Tours was one of the highlights of my first time trip to Tucson. I did both of Kelly’s tours - True Crime Blenman-Elm and True Crime Downtown. She was incredibly knowledgeable and clearly passionate about Tucson’s true crime past, the beautiful architecture and today’s vibrant culture. Whether you’re interested in true crime or just someone who loves exploring charming downtowns and neighborhoods, these tours are absolutely worth it. I left feeling connected to Tucson and look forward to returning and taking her new tours in 2026. Highly recommend!

What a great way to learn more about Tucson! I had visited a few times in the past but hadn’t been aware of the more historic buildings downtown in old Tucson, and certainly hadn’t heard any of the stories of crimes and characters that I heard on the tour. Walking in the area I think gives a completely different perspective than just driving through, and Kelly Kept us totally entertained for the duration of the walk. I’d highly recommend this tour either to residents who want to get to know their downtown a bit better, or to visitors who are interested in some of the spicier history from Tucson’s earlier days.

I enthusiastically recommend Legendary Walking Tours for either a delightful introduction to Tucson and its colorful history, or for residents interested in taking a “deeper dive” into our Tucson heritage. From start to conclusion, I was thoroughly engaged and fascinated with the colorful history behind what I had thought were familiar surroundings! Kelly captured and retained us with her depth and recall of knowledge about places, dates, events, architecture and character traits of the numerous people shaping Tucson’s history. Best way ever to get your “steps” in. Outstanding historical and entertaining introduction to downtown Tucson!
